Week 16 - User Testing #2
After last week's results we were very exited to continue with our user test on various people and see the effects shared music has on people who have never met each other before.
This week we matched the participants playlists and chose to play them a 'First Aid Kit' song, based on their favourite artists and songs. The general atmosphere in the car was a bit awkward at first - they were not making eye contact most of the time and were looking mostly Forward and sideways. We realised that moments of silence creates bigger awkwardness. But as the song kept on playing we noticed that the interaction between our participants became more calm, less awkward and pleasant - They Talked about the song and the band, which brought up a common topic - Sweden (one of the participants is Swedish and the other participant likes the band which is from Sweden).

Week 2 - Naive Persona and Need
This week our team needed to choose our main need and two other marginal needs based on last week interviews. To validate the need we conducted a deep interview with 3 persons. We added some quotes from all of our interviews to support our chosen main need.
Our main need is Clam Driving Experience - we have noticed that interviewers pointed out how stressful driving in Israel is.
We want to eliminate road rage in order to make the driving experience less stressful.
The two marginal needs are:
- Efficiency while driving: we spend an average of 200 hours on driving, we want to take advantage of this time and make it count.
- Keeping track of everything: the interviewers mentioned how they check their phone constantly while driving, we want to help them stay connected without taking their eyes off the road.
After deciding on our needs, it was time to make a persona for which we want to solve the need.
Guy is a 31 years old lawyer from outside of Tel -Aviv. Guy works in Tel-Aviv, so he spends every morning in traffic. He gets stressed when he wastes his time. Guy likes his privacy and comfort.
Then it was time to phrase our "how might we" sentence. We went with:
"How might we improve the driving experience with emphasis on calming".
